How can I find out what are the latest phones on the market? It is honestly hard. With a hand full of major carriers and new phones emerging all the time for different carriers, their are two main sources. I would suggest to stay on top of what is new and what is emerging to check out GSM Arena and Phone Scoop.

Can I reuse a SIM card that was on another account or can I reuse an old SIM card on a new number? Once a SIM card has been used and deactivated it can not be reactivated. So once a SIM card has been taken off an account or made inactive no it can not be used with service again.

On GSM phones they have a PUK or SIM card lock. The PUK is a unique code for your phone on your service provider for your particular SIM card. Once you turn this on and your phone ask you to enter the PUK code, you must call your service provider to find out what your PUK code is. If you try your PUK code wrong to many times it will lock your SIM card. Once your SIM card has been blocked you will have to purchase or get a new SIM card.

Can I email pictures from my phone to my computer, and does that cost to send them? Yes you can email picture from your phone to your computer. To do this go to send a message and in the “to:” section instead of a phone number put in the email address.
Will it cost you? That depends. If you have a messaging package, then it will send like a normal picture message. If you do not have a package then it will cost you the same as a pay per use picture message. If you have a mobile to mobile unlimited messaging plan it will count as an out of your network picture message.

What is a [tag]Data Cable[/tag] for a [tag]Cell Phone[/tag] and how do they work? Some mobile phones come with data cables, and most others you can purchase a data cable for. Generally they connect to your phone to the USB on your computer. What they do is allow you to transfer data from the mobile device to the computer or vise verse. One thing you may encounter with this is that when you plug the phone and data cable into your computer, then the computer may not recognize the phone. Generally the reason for this is that for a computer to recognize a device it needs software drivers. What I would advise doing in this situation is going to Google and searching for your phone make and model and drivers for that phone (Ex. LG CU500 USB Drivers). Usually you will be able to find some free on the web and then you can download and install them. That should solve your issue with the computer not recognizing your phone via the USB cable.
